The need
Over 100 children with disabilities live in Nelamangala taluk. The nearest special school is 20–25 km away in Malleswaram or the city; there is no special school within a 10 km radius. Ashraya is the only option many families have.

Is the trust registered?
Yes. Margadarshi Rural Development Association is registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1961, Reg. No. TMK-S447-2006-07.

Yes. All donations are routed directly to the trust's bank account.

A nominal amount based on the family's economic status only. No child is refused for inability to pay.
